This talk will focus on the present status of CCS projects around the world, overall progress against key emissions targets, and opportunities for/barriers to wide-scale deployment. Neil will also examine key issues around the relationship between enhanced oil recovery and storage.
About Neil Wildgust: Neil is a geologist with over 25 years experience encompassing mining, hyrogeology and CO2 storage. Prior to joining the institute in 2014, Neil was Chief Project Officer at the Petroleum Technology Research Centre (PTRC) and managed the final two years of the Weyburn-Midal research project.
