Richard Adamson, CMC Managing Director, appeared before the Senate Standing Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources. The committee was in Calgary on Dec. 1, 2011 to listen to experts talk about energy systems.
Other CMC experts appearing before the committee were researchers David Keith, Harvard Professor, andHarrie Vredenburg, University of Calgary. The stop in Calgary was part of a two-week Western tour by the committee to gain first-hand perspectives on Western Canada’s energy systems and to better understand the challenges and opportunities faced in Western Canada.
