AMEP Tour of CMC Fugitive Emissions Test Facility

Join AMEP on Monday, April 14, 2025 to tour CMC’s recently expanded fugitive methane emissions test facility at the Newell County Field Research Station.

Limited space is available. Don’t miss this opportunity for an in-depth look at the latest advancements in methane emissions detection, quantification and technology testing in a simulated environment of real-world upstream oil and gas operations. AMEP will provide bus transportation to and from the field site, as well as a packed lunch.

7:30 a.m. – Tour bus departs from downtown Calgary

10:00 a.m. – Tour of CMC-AFE begins

1:00 p.m. – Tour bus departs from Newell County Field Research Station

3:30 p.m. – Tour bus returns downtown Calgary

Note: PPE is provided on site. Participants must dress for all weather conditions, including wearing long sleeves, pants and close-toed shoes or boots.
