New workshop brings together industry, regulators, policy-makers and academia to tackle critical issues facing Canada’s CCUS sector
Carbon Management Canada (CMC) and the Petroleum Technology Research Centre (PTRC) hosted a two-day workshop in Burnaby, BC, to discuss the Barriers to Large-scale CCUS Project Deployment in Western Canada. The workshop was split into seven sessions where experts covered a range of topics such as, provincial perspectives on CCUS deployment, regulatory frameworks and cross-border issues, and social licence. The workshop was hosted at the Svante Centre of Excellence in Carbon Capture and Removal.
