Joint Industry Project
CaMI offers a subscription-based Joint Industry Project (JIP) to access monitoring research outcomes from the Field Research Station that empowers energy companies to improve efficiencies and reduce risk in carbon capture and storage programs.
The JIP develops new continuous and discrete subsurface and surface measurement, monitoring and verification (MMV) technologies related to CCS and other containment and conformance requirements including CO2 enhanced oil recovery.
Specific industry partner opportunities include collaborative research in multi-component seismic surveys, electrical resistivity tomography, fibre optic cables for acoustic and temperature sensing as well as distributed heat pulsing, seismic cross-well surveys, and reservoir fluid sampling technologies.
